Exchange 2003 - Then End ?

Microsoft have announced that there will be no more support for Exchange 2003 beyond April 2014.
So what does this mean?
The software will still work. Your mailserver won't just die BUT without patches, updates, security hotfixes, etc do you really want to be using software like this in your business?
There are lots of options for you to consider. We are letting all our customers know 12 months in advance so they can plan what they are going to do about this. We are recommending the following ...
1. Consider hosted exchange. Two significant benefits; no expensive server to replace & migration is proving straightforward.
2. You'll need to think about MS Office as well. For example Outlook 2003 won't work well in a hosted environment. But if you want to run Office 2013, you'll need a modern PC.

Lots to think about & we don't expect you'll be able to come up with the answers on your own. So give us a call & we'll provide you with the necessary information to ensure you are better placed to decide on how to put an action plan together well in advance of April 2014.
